Brenda D. is the craftsperson behind The Prairie Crocus. She is a Métis artist from Neepawa, Manitoba, currently residing in Wadena, Saskatchewan. The Prairie Crocus aim to use as much natural material in their products as possible. The hides used are sourced from an indigenous family owned company in Quebec.
